Our experienced certified respiratory therapists and nursing staff oversee your respiratory care upon discharge from the hospital setting and help prepare and educate you for discharge to the community when appropriate. Our therapists care for a number of respiratory conditions including respiratory failure, COPD, pulmonary edema, respiratory infections, new tracheostemies and sleep apnea. We have also had success in weaning trachesotomy patients.
Our Goal is to:
- Provide a continuum of respiratory care upon discharge from the hospital environment
- Address our residents' specialized rehabilitation and/or long term needs
- Increase and maintain respiratory function
- Prepare resident for discharge to the community when appropriate by providing them and their families with education and training
